Meet the Founder | Karen Avila
Founder | Financial Services & Lending Professional

Karen Avila brings more than a decade of experience in financial services, with professional expertise spanning banking operations, lending environments, regulatory compliance, document-sensitive transactions, and client relationship management.
Her career includes experience as a loan originator and in leadership roles within financial institutions, providing a strong understanding of the processes, professionalism, and attention to detail required in real estate and financial transactions.
Karen holds an MBA with dual concentrations in Finance and Human Resource Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and an Associate Degree in Accounting.
Karen maintains ongoing professional development through the American Bankers Association, with certificates in Compliance Essentials, Mortgage Lending Compliance, Lending Compliance Core Concepts, Fraud Prevention, Risk Management Frameworks, and Operational Risk Management.
In addition to founding AG Signing Services, Karen is the Founder and President of Luna’s Pawprints Foundation, a Southeast Michigan nonprofit focused on supporting companion animals, community cats, and the people who care for them.
Across both organizations, Karen’s work reflects a broader commitment to accessibility, practical service, and strengthening the communities she serves.

Karen’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional work. Through her leadership of Luna’s Pawprints Foundation, she supports initiatives focused on pet-food assistance, emergency veterinary support, community-cat support, and educational outreach throughout Southeast Michigan.
Karen also remains engaged in professional and community organizations that support leadership development, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity, including Inforum and the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
